Human Resource Management is playing a more and more leading role in Corporation Strategy. But some traditional state-owned enterprises are still carrying forward the old HRM mode under planned economy system, which causes the employees being lack of initiative and creativity. It heavily influences the productive forces and the competitiveness of the company and hinders the enterprises' continuous development.The HRM state of Yuejin Motor Company is investigated in detail and analyzed by SWOT method in this article. With the principles and models of Management, Corporation Strategy, Organization Behavior, Corporate Culture, the article gives the essential reasons which led to the current HRM state. From the point* of interior and exterior factors such as Corporation Strategy, marketing and entering into WTO, the HRM reengineering is much necessary. The article defines the objectives, principles and solution ways of HRM reengineering.In order to conduct the HRM reengineering, the company should establish a new corporation-culture oriented HRM mode and reengineer the concept, mechanism and the employee's quality. During the course of HRM reengineering, the leaders are expected to play the parts of a designer, a steward and a teacher to make the project run smoothly.
