Bot Projects In Yunnan Infrastructure Development And Construction Applications

Project management is an administrative science combining wide practicality and high complication. Infrastructure construction plays an essential role in the economic development of a nation or a region. It is not only an indispensable part and core of economic development strategy, but, to some degree, determines the economic competitiveness as well. Confined by its economic development and geographic feature, the infrastructure construction in Yunnan province has long fallen behind the relatively developed eastern part of china. Moreover, it is usually affected by mono-means of construction, lack of fund, mono-investment, over-loaded financial burden on the part of government, and low efficiency in finance utilization. Hence, we must expand our financing source, encourage diversified investment, enhance efficiency in finance utilization. BOT is at present a rather popular of financing in most developed countries and some developing countries as well. It is especially suitable for large-scale infrastructure constructions that need enormous investment, a long construction period and have much chances of risk. This paper is intended to apply BOT to the infrastructure construction of Yunnan through introduction of the relatively advanced financing means-BOT and the present state in terms of infrastructure construction here in Yunnan.The whole structure of this paper is as following: Preface and introduction part expounds the purpose of this article, method of study, structure of article and process. The second part and the third part on the basis of the analysis of the basic theory of BOT and the percent state of infrastructure construction in Yunnan, puts forward the idea that to apply BOT to the infrastructure construction here in Yunnan is feasible and may effectively solve the problem of its construction. The forth part illustrate the potential obstacles in theinfrastructure construction in Yunnan and corresponding solutions. In the final analysis, this paper conducts a case study of the Yunnan Anjin Highway construction employing BOT in Yunnan.
