In recent years the development of Chinese football level under the attention of national level, news about the football coverage, countries to promote the development of our country football is also continuously introduce new rules the new policy. Even the President Xi Jinping talked about “the Overall Reform Plan of Chinese football” for the first time on the 10 th meeting of central deepening reform group which was just held a few days ago. The main place of youth to have football game is the school playground, which making the school football become the cornerstone and a starting point of the development of Chinese football.In this article, 8 junior middle schools in Minhang district were selected as research objects, and by giving out and taking back questionnaire reports on the development of school football situation to the students, teachers and parents, I collected many datum of the survey. The research is based on literature study, questionnaire survey, data statistics and logic analysis and other research methods. Conclusions are as follow:1. The junior middle school football class of Minhang district is carrying quite well. Almost each school has set up football class and the teaching requirements can be satisfied quite well. With diverse teaching methods and teaching content, the teaching mission can be completed effectively. And from the performance of students, we could apparently tell that they are more interested in the competition, games or the performance where they are able to show personal skills.2. There are rich activities of extracurricular football class of junior middle schools in Minhang district, such as league football match of class, school or district, all kinds of football games, football interest-oriented classes and so on. While most of the boy students can actively involve in football playing, girl students are not. The arrangements of football classes of schools in Minhang district are quite proper and the motivations of students to participate in football are positive. But too much attention to the competition and fun of the football game and ignore the basic skills would block the development of football skills of the students.3. Most physical education teachers in junior middle school of Minhang district have high education background and most of them are beyond 40. It is an energetic youth team which has huge power in promoting the development of the school football. But among them, few have football expertise, and most of them rarely involve in football playing.4. Though the football fields of junior middle schools in Minhang are satisfying, the football related equipments are not. The qualities of the equipments are poor and complaints about the equipments from teachers, students can be heard all the time.5. Parents’ attitude to their children participate in football games is relatively conservative. They seem to be in a dilemma. On one hand, they hope their children to strengthen their physique by playing football; on the other hand, they are worried about the academic performances of children for the football playing might occupy too much learning hours.To the issues talked above, I provide following advices:1. Modify one’s way of teaching to suit the special requirements of each class or case, in other words, adopt grouping teaching according to different students’ football level to ensure that every student enjoy the experience of football learning. Optimize school football course, put emphasis on the combination of football teaching and students’ interests and try to improve the students’ attention to football, especially the girl students.2. Encourage students to actively participate in football playing. Establish women football team to lead and attract girl students to participate in football playing. Strengthen students’ basic football skills so that they can cooperate and coordinate perfectly during the playing and experience the charm of football.3. To strengthen the football training of physical education teachers and promote their participation in football. Organize teacher football competitions and skill competitions from time to time to inspire teacher’s enthusiasm in football activity, and make the football become specialty of more physical education teachers.4. The school should have regular check on the inventory quantity, quality and update of the sports equipment. Set up sports equipment funds and spare no effort to ensure the quality of sports equipment.5. Try to change the traditional concept of parents that students should put learning on the first place and help them to understand the mutually beneficial and win-win relationship between learning and sports, thus, to increase parents’ support for their children’s participation in football playing.
