Objective: Research and analyze the endurance of basketball player of Shandong Sports University and give relevant advices. Provide scientific theoretical basis for improving the endurance level of Shandong Sports University.Methods: In this paper, literature, logical analysis method, mathematical statistics, questionnaire survey, expert interviews and field testing method were used as research methods. 18 basketball players were selected and divided into groups to do contrast experiment include training and testing. After 12 weeks of endurance training, analyze if there is improving effect on basketball players endurance level by using this training method. If there is a certain promotion, it can be used as a training program in the basketball training, and it can promote the development of the men’s basketball in Shandong Sports University. Results: 1.By analyze the data of experimental group before and after training,P < 0.01, it means there has a very significant difference, while the control group before and after the training data of each index(P > 0.05), indicating that does not have a significant. 2. The difference between the experimental group and the control group was very significant. 3. The test showsthat the endurance level of experiment group is better than the traditional endurance training test index of the control group.Conclusion: 1. A player’s stamina quality final expression for technical training and competition is stable or not, difference and other physical qualities is combined with special most closely integrated physical quality, special endurance level to a more accurate expression of basketball athletes in high intensity, high intensity of technology play ability.2. Each index of experimental group were better than control group, this means the training method of experimental group is more helpful for develop endurance. 3. Endurance training should pay attention to the basketball player’s own conditions, recovery and training means of the special and scientific, by this way basketball player’s can get good training effect.
