With the development of the urbanization construction and the rural-urban migration enhancements, the number of migrant workers’ children has increased dramatically, because of the impact of the original overall economic, cultural and educational development in rural areas, and after they entered the city school, they are difficult to adapt to the management and teaching methods of the new school, with their communication between their parents is limited because of parents’working time and their degree of education, etc. All of the different kinds of factors, causing most migrant workers’ children are existing learning adaptability problems after they entered the city schools. Previous studies mainly from the integration of education, social or school adaptation, subjective well-being, mental health and other aspects to analyze the reality of these children,but less studies from the perspective of social work intervention to analy these children’s problem of learning adaptation in new primary schools.In order to ensure the quality of filling the questionnaire and the High Grade-section Pupils are facing to accept the Middle schools’study, so this paper takes 200 students (100 migrant workers’ children,100 urban children) who study in fifth and sixth grade in S primary school of YiCHun city as subjects, from the perspective of social work, based on the ecological theory and social support systems theory to study the migrant workers’ children’s learning adaptability problem in the migrant schools. Meanwhile, this paper uses "learning adaptability test (AAT)" as a research tool to study the differences in learning adaptability between the migrant workers’ children and urban resident’s children, by using SPSS to analyze the Results of the questionnaire. Using of "the experimental group-the controlled group before and after the test" model to test the effect of social work intervention. By T test, ANOVA analysis of the experimental group, it has got the following conclusions:1. the experimental group learning adaptability had significant improvement and higher the controlled group obviously. (P<0.05); 2,by measured the experimental group itself before intervention and after intervention, they got significant improvement mainly on learning attitude and learning technology, their learning ability of adaptation has improved, while the control group did not change significantly.This paper is divided into five parts. Part one is an introduction. It is mainly to introduce the background and significance of this study, the related concepts and related research in our country and abroad before. Paret two is about the research design. It includes research contents and research aims, the main object of study of this paper, ideas, methods, research tools, research procedures and data processing are discussed in this part. Part three is to analyze the findings and influencing factors of learning adaptation of migrant workers’ children in S primary school. Part four is to use the methord of group work and case work to intervene the S Primary migrant workers’ children’s learning adaptation and to analyze the effect evaluation after intervention. Part five is a conclution of this paper. It is to sum up the research results and the deficiencies at this paper. Meanwhile, it provides some advices to improve the learning adaptation of migrant workers’children. The aim is to help the migrant workers children to improve their leaning adaptation in new schools and provid some useful experience on study this topic from the perstive of social work in future scholars.
