A Study On The Origin And Development Of Traditional Sports Games Of Yunnan Minority Nationalities

Our country’s national culture has a splendid long history. As an important part of national culture, the minority physical culture not only shows the spirit of our people, but also promotes cultural transmission. Meanwhile, the minority traditional sports civilization is a special medium of our ethnic sports cultural development and inheritance which shows that sports civilization is an important manner and means to promote harmonious development of ethnic sports.Holding traditional ethnic minority sports can reflect our national policy for the ethnic minorities in the aspect of sports. National games of minorities can supply an interactive communication platform for ethnic sports culture. With competition for leverage, minority national sports events as a transmission medium, promotes the cultural exchanges among the ethnic sports. Not only that, it provides a very powerful safeguard for the scientific and effective sustainable development of traditional national sports. Under the care and support of the government, Yunnan has been successfully held for 10 sessions ethnic games. But as to the original of Yunnan minority sports and sports development process, there is no system of scientific research achievements. And on this basis, this paper is a comprehensive study of its original and development process of Yunnan minority national sports events. The writer look forward it can help to enrich the method and content in future to perfect the research on the development of Yunnan minority sports meeting.The research perspective of this paper is by the virtue of Yunnan minority sports meeting. In the process of research, using the actual investigation, interview,data access, literature loaning and comparative analysis to collect relevant information. It is concluded that the development of Yunnan minority national games from the year of 1955.This Paper first clarified the forming conditions and the development of traditional minority national sports in Yunnan, and made a systematic review of itsdevelopment process. What’s more, this paper explored and analyzed the process of competitive projects and performances of games. Second, it had a deep discussion on the opportunities and difficulties which encountered in the development process of the minority national sports events. And it analyzed the trend and provided countermeasures for the development of sports to build a diversity pattern of development. Through this way, the writer hopes Yunnan minority sports event can be more standardized and scientific, so that people can inherit ethnic sports culture in a better way to promote the development of social undertakings of physical culture and sports.
