The 21st century is the century for study. How should we study and what should westudy? The 21st Century Education Commission put forward one of four major pillars —learn to seek knowledge. To learn to seek knowledge can also be described as " to learn tostudy". When The 21st Century Education Commission was talking about learning, theyespecially pointed out: "This kind of study, mostly for the means to grasp knowledge, insteadof the systematic knowledge that is classified ". They still pointed out : "If initial educationcontributes to the power and foundation of study in and outside work all the life , this kindof education is successful ". Its education thought emphasized the most important question— learning method. Educational development must meet the need of development of era .Inthe face of the voluminous knowledge that is emerging constantly, the traditional teachingrelying mainly on the fact that knowledge is accumulated and study mode have been alreadyunable to deal with . The center of education is necessary from grasping knowledge to shift todeveloping student's ability , training the independence and the initiative of student's study ." Teaching students how to learn to study" has already become an educational objective andtask possessing the characteristics of era, the school should offer to students with moreimportant thing ——Method . People grasping method are people knowing laws, peopleknowing destiny . Such a person could meet the needs of times better , and such a personcould be talent revealing itself in keen competition.This paper attempts to research on how to make students learn to study through trainingstudents' reflective learning ability in mathematics teaching ,according to reflective learningand ability training and cultivating. " Explore independently", "recreate ", "think independently ", "reflectiveconstructing" and so on that are closely related to "reflect" ideas appear in MathematicsCourse Standard for Senior High School (experiment draft )that is just put out . Theinfiltration of the reflective study way in class-based teaching will advance the realization ofthese ideas .This paper mainly defines reflection, reflective learning and reflective mathematicslearning according to literature documents and materials about theory and practice ,and tellsthe difference between reflective mathematics learning and other mathematics learningmethod. Furthermore , it analyses the roles that teachers and students play during reflectivemathematics learning and factors influencing reflective mathematics learning, in the hope offinding the methods to improve students' reflective ability.The development of reflective mathematics learning ability is an important respect instudents' thinking ability development. The cultivation of student's reflective mathematicslearning ability is to teach students to " learn to study ". We should regard class-basedteaching as the main channel . Its significance lies in ① The research on the cultivation ofstudent's reflective mathematics learning ability helps " to teach student how to learn " inmathematics teaching .②The cultivation of student's reflective mathematics learning abilitypromotes assimilation and transfer of knowledge in mathematics teaching.③The cultivationof student's reflective mathematics learning ability helps to improve the ability to solveproblem in mathematics teaching.④The cultivation of student's reflective mathematicslearning ability helps to optimize students' thinking quality in mathematics teaching.⑤Thecultivation of student's reflective mathematics learning ability helps to form the good habitthat students kept improving.The concrete method is①Strengthen reflective training.②Help students to improve theinterest of studying , establish the goal of studying, and excite the reflective motive .③Instruct students to form the good reflective habit in the class-based teaching .④Implementthe reform of the homework in a more cost-effective manner and promote reflection.⑤Carryout the reform in mathematics assessment and promote reflection .Through carrying out statistical analysis , you can find out the result of training: Thereare close relations between students' mathematics reflective learning ability and students'interest level in studying and score of mathematics. After reflective training, students'study interest and score is higher than before. Training students' mathematics reflectivelearning ability can not only improve students' school grade , but also form the good studyhabit , improve students' cognitive structure. Students' consciousness about study , thinkingability and other characters on study have been all improved. The reflective learning abilitycan ensure students " learn to study".
