Secondary School Teachers' Professional Development Pathway

The modernization of education and the recent 2nd Curriculum Reform are two important problems in elementary education of our country. It is natural for teachers to choose the ways of specialization. Not only young teachers but also experienced teachers should think over this matter. So it is essential that we should research the channels of Teachers' Professional Development.This essay is based on the requirements of the New Curriculum Reform for the teachers. It shows the theories of the channels of Teachers' Professional development by means of the ways of documents. Combined with the ways of investigation and case research, this essay places emphasis on the how to realize Teachers' Professional Development through individual of teachers, groups of teachers and administrative level of school.In Chapter III ,the channel of individual of teachers' professional, I illustrate the way of learning the way of teaching reflections school-based inservice education school-based teaching and research school-based courses compiling so on and so forth, What's more, I emphasize the importance of individual professional development.In Chapter IV, the channel of groups of teachers' professional development, first, I analyze the forms of organizations. Then, I put forward a lot of ways and their effectiveness. It also involves the ways of training in interdisciplinary, in a school, among the schools.In Chapter V, administration system promotes Teachers' Professional Development, Teachers' Professional Development must be in progress in the authentic circumstances of the Middle School's teaching. Interchange among schools .Learning in the Internet, school-based courses exploit are the very important platforms of Middle Teachers' Professional Development ,In the meanwhile, the perfected rules of the management are the necessary guarantee of Teachers' Professional Development.Individual, group and management are one another's infiltration and interact.
