Men's football game has become one of the most popular sports in universities and colleges,while only a small portion of universities and colleges in china have the conditions to run a football team of high quality, not to mention a region or province.How to solve the current problems and efficiently popularize and balance the universities are what we face now.A lot of studies have been done on men's football games by searching china journal and wafangdata(two authoritative Chinese websites ),but the studies on men's football reams in universities and colleges are very few.By studying the documents and statistics of the football teams from 15universities and colleges that have taken part in provincial university football games and university league football matches,and after doing some interviews and questionnaires and watching the games on the spot,the paper studies the major problems and the causes in the university men's football teams in our provinces and explores some tactics for its healthy development. the views are as follows:1 The disparity exists between the present that ordinary university man soccer team participates in few large-scale competition and the result that the education department expected to in Hunan province.2 In management,due to a vague idea about the intention and the significance of developing a school football team,the leaders in universities and colleges don't give enough support to this project in policy,fund and personnel management.Especially the shortage of fund and football fields make it impossible for the football teams to receive training in a whole year.3 The shortage of trained players is caused by disjoint link between high schools and universities while recruiting students,and a practicable extracurricular training system for both high schools and universities hasn't set up in the education system.4 The flexibility of education system is bad,which affect the enthusiasm of participating in training,an important reason why the enhance scope of the training level not high. 5 The present competition system and management style bring about a lot of problems such as too few matches for each university,too low competition standard and too unreasonable arrangement of competition teams.All these seriously influence the enthusiasm of the universities to take part in the competitions.6 Although most of the coaches in universities are very young and have received a good theoretical training,most of them are unprofessional and poor in practical experience and experience for training of high-quality.7 Most of the referees in the football games(between universities in our province) come from different universities and colleges and they are all excellent especially the presidents of the jury who are usually above state first-level.This can satisfy the demands of our provincial university football games.
