Administration of students is a systemic engineering through all their admittance in school. In the dissertation, a higher learning institution student information administration system is designed according to the practical requirements of students administration in Jiangxi College of Foreign Studies. The system includes seven modules: Maintenance Management Module, results management module, incentive management module, poor hygiene management module, party members and cadres management module, graduated from he management modules, system management module. System modeling is established, using United Modeling Language (UML), Rational Unified Process (RUP) and modeling tool--Rational Rose. During the modeling of students information administration system, static structural model of the system including use case diagram, class diagram, sequence diagram, status diagram, activity diagram and deployment diagram is established, and dynamic activity model and physical model are also introduced. System structural design is combined with both B/S and C/S concepts, and conceptual design of database and designs of crucial tables are given.In the dissertation, with the using of UML technology and the using of network as a service platform and development of the whole system is well under control. The system is capable of processing large numbers of various student information efficiently and canonically. And it can also be integrated with other information system to administrate the whole process from students'enrolling to their employment easily, systematically and accurately, for which the student administration staff's working loads will be effectively reduced while the working efficiency will be raised.
