This paper research on the techniques of position and attitude measurement,which based on the project of free space optical communication. To establish a laser communication link,the two parts of communication need to looking for the direction of each other,so the equipment for achieve fast positioning is needed. GPS system is now in widespread use of positioning technology,its characterstics of whole time,global and high precision are very suitable for this project.First,the article introduced the GPS system structure,and the principle of coordinate transformation and attitude measurement. Second, according to the technical requirements of GPS system, the article described how to choose the antenna,and the performance of OEM board.The system selected the DSP chip as the processor to complete the extraction of data and calculation. Combining with the software CCS,the article introduced the hardware and software configuration of interface. Finally, the article discussed the data extraction, binary data conversion and data processing in detail. The system used three antennas to compose two perpendicular baseline, and used the Double-difference observation model to calculate. And further analysis was obtained by MATLAB simulation.The results of experiment proofed that Double-difference observation model could really improve the accuracy of the GPS positioning and attitude measurement,and confirmed that system was available and reliable for the research.
