Contour map is a graphic with wide application.It is formed by connecting the numbers with the same points of the spatial distribution in the two-dimensional plane. It is the combination of datas and images. People can see the data trends well and the results of computer simulation visually.It is a graphics with very broad application in engineering and technical fields ,such as petroleum exploration and development, geological, geophysical, geochemical and meteorological fields and so on.In terms of contour map drawing,a set of relatively complete theorys and algorithms has formed, such as various spatial interpolation algorithms,arbitrary discrete points data processing methods, meanwhile analysis of contour lines has a relatively complete realization for different industries in practice, for example, Surfer,Matlab and other softwares.This article has been researched and achieved based on these theories, which have been compared with the result to verify the correctness.In order to display datas visually,this article,which based on the Software development demand of Multi-dimensional oil-gas forecast system project,develop contour map drawing function and Implement this function as a software module. Firstly this article main discuss the original discrete datas interpolation problem,for acquiring the data format that generate the contour required,and Next from the perspective of the algorithm to discuss tracking and generating of contours,the improved of algorithm and the questions of filling and labeling of contours, After this text introduce the specific steps of various algorithms in the software implementation and the problems during the development. Finally introduce the application of contours in the whole system simplely.Specifically,in the part of interpolation algorithm,this article main discuss the algorithms that interpolated the measured datas using rectangular grid modeling, including Inverse distance weighted and kriging and To verify the mapping results is uncertain ,the results has been saved as standard GRD file; In contour generation part ,the text discuss its generation algorithm from two angle of the grid independent and the grid sequence method and the shortcomings of the latter algorithm has been improved. contour smoothing method using B-spline curve, and in the part of contour filling using double attribute topology algorithm based on boundary,and labeling process discuss vector and the feature point extraction.Utilizing MFC as a platform and using C/C + + language the article achieve the drawing of contours and graphics display.the contour mapping module that developed by meams of these algorithms has been integrated in Multi-dimensional oil-gas forecast system ,which is tested through measured data.Finally,the figure of result will compared with the surfer graph,graphics can be verified from the overall correctness of the algorithm and also carried out by comparing the actual data validation,but the closed contour filling and labeling have some issues that should be improved,and meanwhile the application should also be adding more informatiom to be tested.
