Construction Of Geophysical Contour And It’s Attribute

The contour map is one of the most commonly used thematic map in the geophysics field, can be used both in the analysis of the geophysical problems and in the achievement exhibition of the geophysical work. Given the characteristics of the applied geophysics, contour map software for geophysical data should have two main functions, automatical mapping and map editing.At present, there are two types of soft wares which are most commonly used for visualization of geophysical data, one is general computer graphics software, scientific graphics software such as Surfer and Grapher, computer-aided design software such as AutoCAD and geographic information system software such as MapGIS. Those soft wares are not developed for geophysics and need to be used in combination with other software while processing geophysical data. The other is visualization soft wares which are developed for geophysics, some of which are developed based on graphics software, and some are developed based on high-level programming language. The former generally have mapping function, but are limited by the basic software; the study of the latter is still little. Consequently, development of geophysical data visualization software which is good at both contour mapping and map editing is of important significance.This paper mainly studies the automatically drawing, property and operations building of accurate contour map of discrete geophysical data, and human-computer interactive map drawing and editing. On the basis of these theory studies, the automatically drawing and editing software is analyzed and designed according to the needs of geophysical contour map, and is developed based on Visual Studio2008by using C Sharp language.Contour map drawing software for geophysical data which has been developed can draw contour map for discrete geophysical data automatically, and have the function of human-computer interactive real-time graphics and map editing. It is with certain practicality.
