Liangzhou district lies in the eastern end of the Hexi Corridor, north end of Qilian Mountains, raking Shiyang River uprstream, with dry continental climate, scarce precipitation and eco-environment extremely fragile. Changing in land-use types play a decisive role for the maintenance of ecosystem service,researching the change of ecosystem service is important with the development of the western region,which need to clear ecosystem service value, so that arouse people's ecological protection awareness,and further can optimiz the land use structure and layout.County land-use practice mostly reflected the strong results to the policy implementation,studying ecosystem service value contributes to people to abserve the land use rationality at once. Liangzhou, as the political, economic and cultural center of Wuwei City,also one of the national ecological demonstration zones,which plays a vital role in the whole of Shiyang River basin ecosystem,and its eco-environment is directly related to the eco-environment of Shiyang River Basin, especially is more closely related to ecological security of the lower reaches. The larger land-use change over the past decade, followed significant regional ecological environment change.Therefore, studying the ecosystem service value change is good for improving land use efficiency and maintaning land ecological balance, minewhile it is good for coordinateing economy and environment development.Taking liangzhou area as the research object, mainly using the estimation method of Constanza et al, combined with the Chinese terrestrial ecosystems unit area ecological service value table and research of XieGaodi, using government departments datas and statistics yearbook, carried on the analysis from following several aspects such as food production and raw material function value, ecological tourism function value, water conservation function value, keep the soil function value, purify air function value, waste disposal function value and maintain biodiversity function value to 8 kinds of land types of plowland,garden plot,forest,meadow,water area&facility land,traffic land,resident&mineral land and else land,and estimated the ecosystem service value of liangzhou area in 1997-2006, analyzed the relationship between the ecosystem service value and land use,GDP and main social factor. The results provide theory basis for coordinating relationship between land use change and ecosystem service function, also having the certain reference significance for achieving sustainable socio-economic development in liangzhou district.The result shows that:(1)Ecosystem service value has been rised from 25.32billion to 25.73 billion in the study area during1997-2006. There was 1.63% net increase of 0.41 billion, which shows the protection and construction having achieved good result in liangzhou District.(2) Ecosystem service value is closely related with the land use change, ecosystem services value have been changed accordingly as well as land use type changed.1997-2006, plowland provided most ecological service for liangzhou contribution, Next ordinal it is water area&facility land, meadow, forest, garden plot. During ten years, the total loss of plowland and meadow ecosystem service value up to 0.16 billion yuan, ecosystem service value of traffic land and other land respectively decreased by 5.58 million yuan and 53.01 million yuan, ecosystem service value of forest increased by 0.42 billion yuan, far bigger than the total loss value of plowland and meadow, etc, which guaranteed ecosystem service value increasing year by year in liangzhou District. It shows maintaining forest has great value function for ecological service, therefore increasing re-oriented protection and ecological shelter forest construction is the key to promote ecological environment construction.(3) 1997-2006, GDP growth has hitted a racy 31.95% at an annual rate, GDP rapidly increased from 28.01 billion yuan of 1997 to 108.55 billion yuan of 2006 in liangzhou District. But ecosystem service value increased from 25.32 billion yuan of 1997 to 25.73 billion yuan of 2006, with an average annual growth rate of 0.18%. The ratio of ecosystem service value & GDP was relatively declined, from 0.90 of 1997 to 0.24 of 2006. It Shows ecosystem service value growth and economic growth were not synchronized; ecosystem service value growth lags far behind than economic growth.(4)It shows ecosystem service value is lack of flexibility to Population, GDP, and Urbanization.And Population,GDP and Urbanization have little effects on ecosystem service value.By comparison,ecosystem service value is more sensitive to Population, Urbanization followed, and GDP is the last.
