The volume hologram reconstructed by laser possesses the advantages of high utilization ratio of light power, large depth of field, wide scene and small color blurring. As the laser device is reoriented to small volume, high power and low price, the volume hologram reconstructed by laser has a very broad application prospect. In this paper, we focus on a special displaying effect and make 3-dimensional animated displaying transmission hologram and"standing"type reflection hologram reconstructed by laser. The main contents and research works are as follows:Firstly, the basic characters of silver-halide emulsion are researched. We determine the suitable recording and post processing conditions by studying the effect of them on the diffraction efficiency, signal to noise ratio and shrinkage of silver halide emulsion.Secondly, 3-dimensional animated displaying transmission hologram reconstructed by laser is manufactured. According to the multi-angular usable character of the volume hologram, several sub-holograms can be recorded in one plate and get the animated effect by reconstructing them in turn. The recording and reconstructing wavelength are 632.8nm and 532nm, respectively. We calculate the recording and reconstructing conditions of the hologram, and record four sub-holograms in one plate in turn. We design and make the automatic control circuit and displaying device which can display 3-Dimensional animated effect, and solve the problem of"left-right"jumping phenomenon in reconstructing holograms.Thirdly,"standing"type reflection volume hologram reconstructed by laser is fabricated. We design special reconstructing light paths, and accomplish a special displaying effect which seems that the reconstructed object stands on the hologram. The recording and reconstructing wavelength are also 632.8nm and 532nm, respectively. By using the shrinkage character of silver halide emulsion and considering the Bragg conditions changes due to the shrinkage of emulsion, we calculate the angle offset value and obtain conditions of recording/constructing hologram. Finally, we record the reflection volume hologram by two-step process.
