Linyi City, which has abundant low-temperature geothermal, located in Yishu fault zone and is known as China's geothermal city. It is importante for the study of geothermal water resource exploration and development to research of formation mechanism and distribution characteristics of geothermal in north district of Linyi City.First, the geothermal geological conditions of this area are discussed and the distribution changes of the gravity anomaly, magnetic anomaly, terresttial heat flow and the characteristics of the geothermal field of this area are summarized in this paper. The distribution of geothermal anomally zone is the same to direction of Yishu fault and affected the secondary fault. There are two types of heat reversors:layered and ribboned themal storage. The broken parts of Ordovician Majiagou Formation Badou Mem and the limestone of Cambrian system is layered reservoir mainly, which becomes deeper from south to north in depth. Mantle heat flow is the main heat source, and then the heat produced by decay of radioactive substances on the crustal heat. Then we can have the genetic model of geothermal systems of study area. In the context of high heat flow, infiltration of precipitation in the recharge area along the fault zone runoff, collection and make deep cycle, heating, and then along the fault zone to the shallow migration by thick layers of Cretaceous cover block So deep groundwater in a relatively closed environment, thus forming a fault-controlled deep-cycle convective geothermal field.In the whole district, groundwater types for Cl-Na type and Cl·SO4-Na type, The ultimate source of groundwater is atmospheric precipitation. MengJia village-Changjia village fault divided into two different regions of groundwater dynamic conditions in the south and north, the cycle of the North is older than 40 years, while which of the southen regions is more than 60 years.As an example of Tangtou and Xujiahu geothermal field, this paper Comparative analysis of conclusion of research of formation mechanism and distribution characteristics of geothermal in north district of Linyi City.
