Architecture Design And Implementation Of Halal Beef And Mutton Quality Traceability System

In recent years,many food quality problems have frequently happened,which have had serious effects on people's health and social stability. The quality of tracing livestock products has aroused the intensive attention of the society. As one of the dominantly featured and the key developing industries in NingXia , Halal beef and mutton industry has been seriously hampered to further development because of the lack of halal information database from the source to the table, and the lack of total quality traceability platform of the industry.Taking the domestic and foreign advanced experience of food traceability as an example, a set of the total quality traceability systems of halal beef and mutton products, have been integrated and designed based on the research and application of Internet of Things(IOT), including Muslim breeding management system, standardization of halal beef and mutton processing traceability and quality management information system, automatic query message transmission system and two-dimensional barcode reading system.The main work and innovative points:1. The research and application of IOT such as the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification), EAN/UCC-128 barcode, two-dimensional barcode and the GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) has played a great role in settling the key issue in system implementation.2. It has showed all aspects of production processes of Ningxia′s characteristic Muslim products from livestock breeding, slaughtering, processing to logistics operation by combining the processing procedure of the application software with the international quality standard certification of halal.3. The introduction of the HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and GMP(Good Manufacturing Practice) to processing and production process of Muslim products in Ningxia has promoted the standardization of the slaughter and processing and the informationization of management.The design and implementation of the total quality traceability systems of Halal beef and mutton products has some innovation and practicability. Regulatory authorities and consumers can trace the key points of beef and mutton production by SMS, telephone, network and smart phones with the barcode scanning capabilities, and the whole Muslim traceability and quality traceability can be realized. With the installation and use of the systems in enterprises of breeding, slaughtering and processing in Ningxia, significant economic and social benefits have been achieved.
