With the development of Mustard Tuberand industry, salt wastewater treatment can not be neglected. Pickle wastewater has the characteristics of high salt concentration and high CODcr concentration, with the salinity of 20g/l and CODcr concentration about 3000 to 6000 mg/1. Currently most of the research on salted wastewater treatment stay in anaerobic stage, nearly no research in aerobic section. Biological contact oxidation (BOC) can fight toxicity and resist impact of loading change, it has never been used to Mustard Tuberand wastewater treatment, so this paper selects BOC to deal with Mustard Tuberand wastewater, through cultivating domestication, concluding the best organic loading, HRT, temperature and the highest salinity tolerated (NaCl) in order to provide the scientific basis for aerobic biological treatment period of salted pickle wastewater.The results show that:1. Through the sludge domestication, ordinary activated sludge can tame into high salty resistance sludge which can remove CODcr with better effect, this domestication experienced 52 days. In this domestication, improve concentration (NaCl in 500mg/1) and organic content gradually will not influence the result.2. Control the experiment condition:hydraulic retention time(HRT) 5h, NaCl around 10g/l, temperature:25℃, PH:7~8. When CODcr concentration 440-823mg/l, organic loading 2.12-3.95 kgCOD/m3·d, removal rate can achieve 85%, effluent concentration less than 100mg/l, can achieve the《integrated wastewater discharge standard》(GB8978-1996) first level standard. Therefore, this experiment shows that BOC reactor has the better range of organic loading 2.12-3.95 kgCOD/m3·d, and the best organic loading 3.3 kgCOD/m3·d.3. Different concentration has different best HRT, low concentration needs low HRT, with water concentration increasing, HRT also increases. Control the experiment condition: NaCl 10g/l, temperature:25℃, PH:7~8. Conclude that:concentration less than 491.84 mg/1, for the best HRT 2h; concentration 491.84~686.88 mg/1, for the best HRT 4h; concentration 686.88~800.38mg/l, for the best HRT 6h; concentration 800.38~958.74 mg/1, for the best HRT 9h; concentration 958.74~1110.88 mg/1, for the best HRT 11h.4. With the reaction temperature increasing, the ability of degradation increased at first and then decreased, the highest removal temperature is 25℃. So the best temperature to deal with Mustard Tuberand wastewater is 25℃.5. The salt tolerance limit of BOC reactor is 51.84g/l, when NaCl concentration is less than this limit, increase salt concentration will not influence the treatment effect. Biological contact oxidation processing can not remove NaCl.6. Using biological contact oxidation treatment, according to Monod equations, it is concluded that dynamics model is correlation coefficient R2 = 0.9642, the dynamic model of experimental get well with the test results.
