While entried into the planning stage of "the 12th Five-Years", the non-adaptive of "pollution first, treatment later " has been seriously recognized. With The continuous development and increase of the total amount of economy, the total amount of pollutants has increased significantly. So according to plan, the control efforts of the pollution is also increasing. For water pollution control the development is focus on the way of centralized wastewater treatment in recent years. For the current stage of economic development and urbanization, the Dispersed sources of pollution which the Centralized Management Network of the pipe system cannot reach will occupy a large share. So the study of the Wastewater Treatment Technology of Decentralized Source which Adapt to the national conditions of China is an Urgent priority. So we Research the techniques of RBC In this paper, which is popularly respected by Western country.Based on the existing research literature and empirical data, We Design of a rotating biological contactors, which can removal the Nitrogen and phosphorus of the wastewater, and Do an Experimental study of it. We Get the best reactor hydraulic retention time and speed, through the adjustment of water volume and speed. Through a continuous monitoring at low temperature to high temperature confirmed the Decontamination capability of these devices. We get the Resistance to impact load and the Phosphorus Removal Effect through the Resistance Impact Load Test and the Conditions of restricted oxygen test. The experiments show that:this Reactor has a strong capacity to clean the wastewater. At low temperature 13℃to high temperature 23℃, the average removal rate of the COD is over 75%, the removal rate of the total phosphorus is around 70%, the removal rate of the Ammonia nitrogen is around 90%. The Removal rate of the indicators is increased with the upward trend of the water temperature. Each indicators of The Treated water of the system could well meet the B standard of first Grade of GB/T 18918-2002, and the COD, ammonia nitrogen and total phosphorus also meet the standard A of first Grade. At the same time the RBC in the speed of 2.5r/min (Line speed is about 15m/min) and a 3.5h HRT, the effect reaches its optimal value. When the RBC's high hydraulic load running or shut down time is less than 3 hours, about 1 hour the system can be restored to normal levels. When the high hydraulic load running or shut down time is between 3 to 12 hours, the restore time will less than 5 hours. And when the high hydraulic load running or shut down time is more than 12 hours, the restore time will less than one day. This RBC system Achieve the removal of nitrogen and phosphorus, by the way to stamp to limit the Supply of oxygen. The experiments show that:when the RBC is stamped, the removal rate of the total phosphorus has 50% higher than it is not stamped, and there is little change in Ammonia nitrogen. Thus we can conclude that, for the RBC of the small-scale distributed sewage, which need removal the phosphorus, the RBC should be stamped.
