| With the coming of individual consumption age, consumers have more individual demands to the products including furniture. Correspondingly, enterprises must take account of consumers' individual needs, as well as large-scale industrial production in their design period. This subject chooses wardrobe as the specific research object, takes modular design and mushroom-type model as the theoretical guide, and study the possible measurements for enterprises when it is in the presence of different levels of individual needs, and these measurements which will meet the individual demands must be based on the large-scale industrial production. This study is mainly divided into the following stages:(1) Make a clear concept of individuality, and collect design theories and practical information which associated with individual needs; (2) Offer an overall comprehension of current wardrobes, analyze the related lifestyle, study the connotation of individual demands and design rules/principles of individual products; (3) Based on the above two parts, it extracts the design proof for the individual wardrobe and converted it into relevant design conditions, then develop the design practice.According to the research, the conclusions are reached as follows:1) Individuality is built on a certain common foundations and requirements. To meet the individual requirements of wardrobe, it is necessary to have an in-depth research for the common requirements before realize the individuality. Meanwhile, the individual demands should be realized and satisfied with the "appropriate" rule;2) The satisfaction of the wardrobe's individualized demands does not only include the. purchasing stage, but also the using period. We must pay attention to the product's whole life process, only on this basis could the individualized design be really realized;3) This subject analyses the connotation of individualized demand. And it concludes that the main features of individualized product design are "changeable", interaction with users, and creativity both from designers and consumers.4) This subject propose three design levels based on the wardrobe's individual demands: low-level individuality, middle-level individuality and high-level individuality, it also points out the corresponding implementations and draw up the design concept for the these three design levels.5) In this study, the direct object is wardrobe, but the related conclusion about the individual design and the analysis methods which used in this paper will have reference value to the other similar analysis and design practice. |
