The change of people’s way of life leads toproduct demand diverse. We all know the product design service to people’s life, and thegood product design can guide people to new life forms. So we only design and studyproduct based on the form of life to find the real need, and also tend to more likely to movepeople using products.In modern life, bathroom products have become a kind of daily-life products, and arean important part of modern home furnishing decoration. For the design of the bathroomproducts, the homogeneous design has not been able to meet the diversified need andpreference of consumers, which becomes a complex and variable factor. Especiallybathroom products consumption of young people, their lifestyle are obviously differentwith the other populations, their habits, life attitude, consumer attitude, personalitycharacteristics all have a substantial impact on the demand of sanitary products. Therefore.,only by understanding the young people’s life forms and the behavior of bathroom productsusing, can we fundamentally find their demand, in order to design the better products.This paper first oriented the overall macro grasp for life forms theory of productdesign and bathroom products, to find the research method of life pattern and the trend ofthese stuffs. And analyze or demonstrate the sanitary products based on lifestyle, studyingthe related problems about bathroom stuffs of the young white-collar workers, investigatingthe relationship between products design and life forms, to find the influence andsignificance about design in view of lifestyle. After that, to explore the bathroom productsdesign character of young people and find potential design opportunities based on theinvestigation or analysis of young white-collar workers life style and the sanitary stuffsusing condition. In the end, we should guide the design practice according to the theoreticalresearch conclusions. |
