Nowadays, with the rapid development of the manufacturing industry, the significant readjustment of the garment industrial structure and requirements caused by the upgrading of production equipments,,the need for CNC (computerized numerical control system) will be diversification. "PC+PMAC" a kind of open computerized numerical control system, has become the mainstream of computerized numerical control system development with its advantages of flexibility and generality,Using this mode as the control core of automatic sewing machine has been tendency in the garment industry.On the basis, of detailed analying garment process, Controlling demand and principle of AC servo control system and ASM (Automatical Sewing Machine) system performance index, the dissertationta has discussed the ASM control system software scheme based on open-architecture structural frame "PC+PMAC".First of all,This paper designes the overall scheme of ASM (Automatical Sewing Machine) system and the hardware design scheme of the whole ASM system, inclulding components selection, external circuit design and servo control design. The PC software of the whole ASM system comprises three parts:the parameters setup software, debugging software and autorun software. Each segment is composed of the entire software structure, which includes PC control procedures developed under Visual C++ environment, communication module between PC and upper computer, as well as PMAC motion program and PLC monitoring program, PC is in charge of system management and task scheduling, however, Turbo PMAC can finish accutate positioning of all axis and speed regulation. This system can accomplish DXF files reading, graphic information extractiong, sewing task and status monitoring and alarming.Turbo PMAC2, as the main body of motion control, use those graphic information which sent from PC through PComm 32 Pro 32-bit application communication driver to control motoers to achieve trajectory tracking automatically according to sewing technological requirements, which completes electro-servo control,disconnection detection, shearing control, thread tension control and marking control at the same time.This system also take charge of failure detection, manual control and status monitoring. Then, proceeded the viability debugging to the control system's platform, and gives the test results of the system. Experiment results show that the system control software can greatly improve the efficiency of sewing and realize intelligent control without any manual operation in the whole process. The creative point in this paper is that ASM system adopt open architecture "PC+PMAC"as its main body and use the handpiece and rotating shuttle Separation Techniques realize intelligent control without any manual operation in the whole process, which strengthen the flexibility of control system and realize intelligent control without any manual operation in the whole process.
