The imposition of more stringent legislation governing the disposal and utilisation of sewage sludge, coupled with the growth in its generation and the loss of traditionally accepted disposal routes, has prompted a drive for alternative uses for sewage sludge; in the traditional activated carbon production, higher raw material costs caused by the high cost of activated carbon production, it is difficult large-scale application of sludge as a carbon material, which has become the activity of adsorbent the objective conditions of raw materials.In this project we want fand a best way to product sewage sludge-based adsorbents (SBAs), BET, iodine adsorption and the removal of leachate CODcr are used as measure of performance, and by changing the activity of the various process parameters to seek the best SBAs preparation conditions. Orthogonal best prepared than those of SBAs surface area 171.26m2/g, pore size 4.33nm, pore volume 0.1856m3/g, iodine adsorption value 258.03mg/g, removal of leachate CODcr was 240.03 mg/g. By orthogonal experiment analysis, the sludge activator plays a decisive impact on iodine adsorbent, followed by activation time, solid to liquid ratio and addition amount of sawdust on the sludge of iodine adsorbent similar which solid-liquid ratio slightly stronger, and the activation temperature of the sludge has become the most iodine adsorbent secondary factor; SBAs obtained the best preparation conditions for the optimal preparation conditions of the sludge as adsorbent ZnCl2+H2SO4mixed solution 1(5mol/L of ZnCl2 and 5mol/L of H2SO4 volume ratio of 2:1) activation, the ratio of 1:2, the activation time of 2h, activation temperature 650℃, do not add sawdust.Throuth the analysis by orthogonal experiments, we find the optimum process parameters for producting SBAs, opened up a new utilization way for sewage sludge,laid the basis for further development. Not only fully reflects the thinking of the comprehensive utilization of waste, will also have a huge environmental, economic and social benefits.
