Nanofiltration and reverse osmosis were often used as a process of advanced treatment in landfill leachate treatment plant,which would produce about of 20%-30%concentrated leachate,as the effluent quality meeting the discharge standards.Concentrated leachate was a kind of high concentration intractable organic wastewater,which has various characteristics,such as high organic concentration,high salinity,high chroma and low biodegradability.This work studied the preparation of sludge based biochar(SBBC)and regeneration of the saturated sludge based biochar.According to the characteristics of the concentrated leachate.SBBC and recycled sludge based biochar(RSBBC)was used to treat concentrated leachate under the ideology of "by-waste".Based on that,the two stage bio-carbon adsorption process and deep treatment processtreatment process were designed to explore a new wastewater treatment process which was suit for concentrated leachate treatment.Moreover,a set of concentrated leachate treatment process of 156m3/d was designed.The results of this study are as follows:(1)The optimum preparation temperature of SBBC is 800 and the shaking time?is 2 hours.In this way,the adsorption and iodine value of methylene blue is 44.64 mg/L and 172.44 mg/L respectively.The optimum regeneration temperature and time of RSBBC is 800? and 1 hour respectively,and its reproductivity is 85.11%.The adsorption and iodine value of methylene blue are 44.94 mg/L and 202.90 mg/L.(2)SBBC and RSBBC belong to an activated carbon that has many excellent characteristics,such as,variety of functional groups existed in its surface and good hydrophilicity,which could effectively remove organic matter from wastewater.(3)The compound of fulvic acid and humic acid are the main components of concentrated leachate,and the designed concentrated leachate treatment process could effectively remove these two contaminants.(4)Reverse osmosis was determined as the treatment methods of concentrated leachate by the comparisons of treatment process of ozonation,biological aerated filter and reverse osmosis,and a process design scheme of 156 m3/d was successfully accomplished.
