The main purpose of this paper is that carrying out the static and dynamic finiteelement analysis with ANSYS software, which is based on a satisfied structure after themodification and improvement of the original design of the label turret, to analysis thestrength and stiffness of the structure and get the impact coefficient. According to theanalysis result, some design procedures, data reference and technical guidance have beenprovided for the design, applying and improvement of the label turret.Theory analysis of the level lifting mechanism was carrying out, and according tothe working requirement, the required lift travel was obtained through calculation whenthe hydraulic cylinder finished the work, and the installation position of hydrauliccylinder on the platform was ascertained. Through the force calculation of the label turretfour-bar, the force condition of every rod was obtained and the minimal theoretical liftforce of hydraulic cylinder required for hydraulic cylinder lifting. According to the rotatespeed and load case, bearing power of the label turret was calculated, and then wedecided the power and the model of the motor. According to the calculation of theoverturning moment during the label turret lifting travel, the minimum diameter of thefoundation bolt was obtained, thus the strength checking of the foundation bolt wascompleted.The3-D model of this ladle turret was set up by means of Solidworks software, anda motion simulation of one periodic time has been set up. After reasonable simplificationof the ladle turret model, it is imported to ANSYS software by means of data interface,then meshed the whole of the model, thus the finite element model of the ladle turret wasfounded.Impact effect should be considered when apply the loaded weight which would beloaded on the loading surface, then do the static analysis to the model, so we can get thevon-mises stress cloud chart and the displacement cloud chart of finite element model ofthe ladle turret and get the exact location where the maximum stress and the maximumdisplacement turn up. Through the analysis of the dynamic characteristics of the whole structure, we can get the low-order natural frequency and mode. Finally, according to thedynamic process simulation of receiving pot, the impact coefficients of the ladle turret indifferent conditions were given out. The effect of different time receiving pot to thedynamic simulation would be clear through comparing the results.
