Waste rubber is an important renewable resource, there are many reclaiming methods nowadays, but microbial desulfurization and chemical desulfurization are novel reclaiming methods of waste rubber. In this thesis, both chemical and biological desulfurization method are used for recycling waste rubber, the regeneration was evaluated; becides the bacteria Sphingomonas cells (Sphingonomas sp) on the metabolic mechanism of sulfur compounds was receached and meaningful Data was obtained.This paper involved chemical desulfurization for ground rubber with five reclaiming agents, they are Diphenyldisulphide(DPDS),2-aminophenyl disulphide(APDS),2,2-dibenzamidodiphenyldisulphide(DBADPDS), Diailyl Disulfide(DADS) and Delink. In this paper, Reclaiming rubber compound sol content and Mooney viscosity, reclaiming rubber vulcanizates mechanical properties, were studied. When desulfurized ground rubber was incorporated with SBR, mechanical properties, dynamic mechanical properties, the morphologies of tensile of filled vulcanizates and the situation of ground rubber particles on the fracture surfaces were studied. In this part, one best reclaiming agent was chosen, it is DBADPDS. Besides the best desulfurization temperature is 140℃, the best dose of DBADPDS is 2 per and reclaiming time is 20 minates.In the part of microbial desulfurization technology, A new Sphingomonas species strain was cultured. And the growth of it with different amounts of BR ground rubber was investigated, and then the content of ground rubber was obtained when desulfurization was processing. The evidences of S=O and C=O on the surface of desulfurized vulcanizates were shown in FTIR spectra. XPS spectra found that C=C double bonds decreased for desulfurized vulcanizates. Besides, desulfurized ground rubber was incorporated with SBR, crosslink densities, mechanical properties, dynamic mechanical properties, the morphologies of tensile and the situation of ground rubber particles on the fracture surfaces were studied. The research improved that the better interphase bonding between ground rubber and rubber matrix. Because of the stronger interphase bonding, the abrasion resistances of filled vulcanizates were also improved.In the part of research of desulfurization mechanism, a model compound DBDS was chosen. It cultured with Sphingomonas, GC and MS were used to analysis the decomposition products. Experimental results show that there are new products founded, but the name will known by extra experiment.
