Tee junction is widely used in many fields. The thermal fluctuation will exist, when the temperature of the fluid in the branch and main pipe is different, and this thermal fluctuation will cause the materials of the pipeline fatigue failure. So, study how to accurately predict the temperature fluctuations of inner wall of the tee junction is the main content of this paper. In this paper, we simulate this mixing process and the heat transfer process of the circular tee junction. Then we analyzed the temperature fluctuation of the wall and the velocity fluctuation of the fluid in this paper. Then, we use the finite element method to discrete the model, and we ues the conjugate gradient method to solve the inverse heat conduction problem. We regard the outwall temperature of the simulation as the measurement temperature and then solve the inverse heat conduction to get the innerwall temperature. The results show that the modle that we developed is correct. This method do not need to know the boundary conditions of the inner wall and do not need to consider the fluid in the pipe. The temperature of the outwall which is got easily was used to sovle this problem, this method have a good application prospect.
