The Gold Cone filter cartridge has a larger filter area in the same floor area as a conventional filter cartridge.The number of pleats is excessive,especially the number of pleats on the inner cone,which makes it difficult to clean and limits its wide application.In this paper,the problem of the dust removal of the Gold Cone filter cartridge and the uneven distribution of the flow field of the cleaning ash are studied.The cleaning performance of the Gold Cone filter cartridge is studied by pulse injection test and numerical simulation to establish the relationship between the peak pressure of the Gold Cone filter cartridge and the cleaning parameters.Through the industrial experiment,the cleaning performance of the Gold Cone filter cartridge dust collector was studied,and the relationship between the residual dust and the operating parameters of the dust collector was established.(1)In order to study the cleaning performance of the Gold Cone cartridge,a pulse-jet cleaning experiment system was designed.Experient involved the tank pressure on pulse-jet cleaning,the jet distance,and the effects of the injection hole diameter were studied by testing the static pressure on the inner wall of the cartridge.The peak positive pressure and pulse-jet parameters can be described from this study.The results show that 1)the optimum tank pressure was 0.5Mpa,2)the optimum jet distance was 200mm,and3)the optimum the injection hole diameter was 35mm.The peak positive pressures on the corresponding cartridge inner surface of 150mm,500mm,850mm were 2399.6Pa,1798.8Pa,and 1224.3Pa,respectively.And the peak positive pressures on the corresponding cartridge's inner cone of265mm,465mm,690mm were 1030.4Pa,2156.5Pa,and 1104.4Pa,respectively.Peak positive pressure on the inner wall of the cartridges decreased along the cartridge vertical direction.And peak positive pressure on the inner wall of the cartridge's inner cone first increased,and then decreased along the cartridge's inner cone vertical direction.(2)Pulse-jet cleaning of Gold Cone cartridge was studied by Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD).This focused on air velocity.The results show that air at the center of the nozzle was at the highest speed,reaching 386-473m/s.The cartridge inlet's air speed was 100-441 m/s.The maximum air velocity on the outer wall of the filter cartridge was 52,87,70 m/s from top to bottom.The air velocity first increases and then decreases along the wall of the cartridge.The air speed on the upper part of the inner cone wall is 17.5m/s,and the air speed on the middle and lower part of the inner cone wall is 17.5-52.6m/s.The air from the inner cone flowed directly into the ash hopper,which embodied the advantage that the Gold Cone cartridge can blow dust directly into the ash hopper during the pulse cleaning process(3)Cleaning Performance of Gold Cone filter dust collector was studied by industrial experiment.The results show that the maximum resistance of the dust collector system was67Pa,and the total residual dust of the filter cartridge was 1.3kg under the conditions of tank pressure of 0.5 MPa,filtration wind speed of 0.2 m/min,dust concentration of 100 g/m~3 and pulse interval of 10 s.The fixed resistance was set to clean,when the system resistance was1000Pa for cleaning.The residual dust of the filter cartridge is 3.66kg,3.42kg,4.06kg with pulse width of 40ms,80ms,120ms,and the optimal pulse width is 80ms.The system resistance of 1000Pa,1500Pa,2000Pa was set to clean,and pulse width was 80ms.The system resistance was 870Pa,1389Pa,1856Pa with once injection,the system resistance decreased by 73.8%,54.3%,and 39.6%,with six injections,and the final system resistance was 228Pa,318Pa,835Pa,and the final residual dust of the cartridge is 3.42kg,5.69kg,9.15kg respectively.This experiment provides experimental guidance for the industrial operation of the Gold Cone filter cartridge.The above research results provide a certain theoretical reference for the promotion and application of the Gold Cone filter cartridge and have important significance.
