This article aims to solve the problem of recycling a mass of Mo-tailings from Huludao city liaoning province.In this company,the molybdenum has a long mining history,depositing vast of Mo-tailings, to be confined to the ore dressing and mining situation before,not to recycle the abundant mineral resources,and at last is a stain on the the economy and environmen to the firm. Therefore ,the text takes the processing of Mo-tailings recycling as the main research.The project essentially includes reserch of the process mineralogy and chnologies of mineral proeessing,advanced technology,through experimental investigation,The grade of Mo-tailings is 0.067%.,it is clear that main meatllic minerals minerals in the ore are zinc blende, iron pyrites, magnetite, molybdenite and copper pyrite ect,the main noble metals are natural silver,copper, and the main gangue minerals are quartz, feldspar, sericite mica and some clay minerals. Passing the test,we find out a efficiently collectors that is aimed at the low grade ore,and the application of factor analysis method for study of analying the abundant data of rough flotation using spss statistical analysis software package is described.This method can give us the fine advice in the test work.After the flotaion test,I find a favourable flotation circuit,which include one roughing concentration , six cleaning concentration and two scavenging concentration.It obtained a good indicator which has the grade of 33.87% Mo with recovery of 65.71%,and providing a reference technological process to the separation plant,grinding floatation—rough concentrate regrind—column flotation.
