| Organometallic chemistry has undergone a further renascence and rebirth due to the successful synthesis and application of a varety of important and functional organometallic compounds which have promoted the progress in chemistry, such as catalysis, organic synthesis and new materials.β-Diketiminato ligands have attracted much attentions because of their special characteristics of steric effects and a diversity of bonding modes possible in their metal complexes.β-Diketiminato ligands are also used in stabilization of low valent metals and their metal complexes have been used in many catalytic reactions, for example,β-diketiminatozinc compounds have been used as one kind of best catalysts in ring-opening polymerization of lactide. Thus, the further research on theβ-diketiminatometal complexes and their applications will be benefit to organometallic and related chemistry. The thesis deals with the reactions and catalysis of someβ-diketiminatometal complexes which are outlined as follows:Chapter 1. The research background of this thesis, consists of three parts: (1) research progress of Tishchenko reaction; (2) reactions ofβ-diketiminatometal complexes with small an organic molecule; (3) application in organic synthesis ofβ-diketiminatolithium compounds.Chapter 2. The solvent-free Tishchenko reaction are described. The Tishchenko reaction were effective for the dimerization of aromatic aldehydes to the analogous carboxylic esters by usingβ-diketiminato alkali metal complexes as catalysts, and the products were characterized by 1HNMR,13CNMR and IR.Chapter 3. The reactions ofβ-diketiminato alkali metal complexes with small organic molecules conclude O2,S,Se,CO2,CS2,R-N=C=N-R and R-N=C=O were studied.Chapter 4. In this chapter, high yields were obtained from the reaction of amines with isocyanates, cyclotrimerization of isocyanates, amines with carbon bisulfide, and carbodiimide by employingβ-diketiminatolithium complexes, respectively. |
