Plate rolling process is a very complex process of metal deformation. Temperature is an important factor of influence of metal's deformation and material's performance. In this process, the plastic work translate into hot, lending to warm of workpiece. And temperature' changing have a significant impact on mental deformation resistance. In order to improve the precision of numerical computing about rolling process, It's necessary that the velocity field and temperature filed is coupled together to solve.Coupling the velocity field and temperature filed based on Lagrange multiplier method is a way which can obtain the accurate solution. In the paper, We discrete the coupled equation, and numerical simulation of the thermo-mechanical coupling of flat hot rolling process is achieved. Following are the main contents:1) Solving by Method of finite element discretization. After discreting the deformation zone of rolling, Discrete relevant variables with Rigid-Plastic Finite Element Method, Discrete the first variation of Lagrange function, obtain the finite element system for solving. At the same time, we discuss the problem of discretization of boundary conditions.2) The 3D finite element program is compiled for numerical simulation. Temperature filed's boundary conditions are used in nonlinear former to add the numerical simulation's authenticity. In the calculated process, Newton iteration method is used, the golden methold and Brent method are used when linear searching the damping factorα, and comparing the results of them.3) The analysis of experimental results. Coupling calculated results accuracy is compared with past quasi-coupling,3D and 2D's solving accuracy respectivly. And it's accuracy of caculation is better than the other calculated accuracy. We got the distibution of temperature filed in rolling deformation zone.
