The further opening of domestic market results in more and more intense competition. And enterprises are faced with system reform and technical innovation. Domestic of textile industry also encounter unprecedented challenges and opportunities. The only way for the company to improve market competitiveness and productivity is using new and innovative technology instead of traditional craft manufacture technology.At present, the rapier loom is one of the most widely used in shuttleless loom in our country. The electronic detection and control system is the key point for the rapier loom of yarn tension during the research and development of shuttleless loom, which is also the key factor that whether the loom can performance smoothly and stably. Therefore, research in the electronic test and control technology for the rapier loom of yarn tension has important significance and widely market prospect.This article is aimed to build mathematical model of loom based on analyzing the basic working principle of shuttleless loom and to establish yarn tension simulation model by using module library of MATLAB/Simulink. Through the simulation analysis, and in the light of traditional rapier's yarn tension tes,less control accuracy,weak response and other shortcomings, this article also presents to apply asynchronous motor DTC control technology and S type tension detection technology to control and detection system of loom warp tension.We can find that this control and detection technology has achieved favorable expected effect from the simulation analysis of improved warp tension control and detection system by MATLAB software. The warp tension fluctuates smoothly, the system response is better and control precision is improved greatly. Also, through the detect of rapier loom double let-off yarn tension and analysis of control structure, this article is concluded that the yarn tension electronic detect and control technology also can be applied to electronic detect and control system of double let-off yarn tension. At last, this article puts forward a new assumption to detect and control method of double let-off yarn tension and makes a simple analysis to the force situation of tension rod in new detect method.
