With the development of high speed press in higher speed and higher precision, the vibration has, become more serious, the existing of clearance destroys the ideal mechanical model, brings error between the fact kinetics and ideal kinetics, and bottom dead center (BDC) accuracy of the punch is becoming more and more important. The actuator was the most important component of press, its motion performance and accuracy directly affect the precision of press BDC. As the type of high-speed precision press for research object, the clearances at joints and elastic deformation of high speed press are investigated in the paper.Firstly, the mechanical accuracy of high speed press depends on such facts as the vibration of machine, the deformation of parts due to the temperature change and the clearances at joints, then propose appropriate measures. Secondly, the mechanical model of crank slider has been build up, and did the kinematics analyses use analytic method, and calculated the movement of the slider which provided basis for the following simulation. Also the inertial force between balancing and unbalancing were compared, and the inertial force balanced decreased much compared to the unbalanced before, the balance device can help to reduce the vibration. Thirdly, establish the multi-rigid virtual prototype models of press operating mechanism based on Solidworks and ADAMS, compare the difference of the results with the theory analysis after the simulation, the conclusion showed the feasibility of simulation. With the computer simulation, clearance and size of clearance and rotate speed of crank are further analyzed to the influences on both the slider error and the kinetic responses of high speed press. As the linkage has much effect on mechanism precision, it is viewed as flexible body and a model with clearance and flexible linkage for high speed press is established, further research the clearance and elastic deformation of the influence of BDC accuracy. Finally, according to the main factors of influence punch BDC accuracy, and put forward relevant improvement measures.
