In order to improve the effectiveness of wind turbine training, a wind turbine simulation system has been built up by using the three-dimensional technology,Firstly the wind turbine model was built by using aPro/E and3DMax. Secondly the structure and functions of the wind turbine was displayed by using OSG3D engine. Thirdly a virtual human was added to the scene and performing inspection task by using Cal3d techonology. The system provide more information support to users when they are immersed in the wind turbine scene, an information database for wind turbine has been built up. ORACLE database system is used as the database server. After formatting, obtained information will be displayed on a fixed position of the screen, so that users can easily get information and data related to wind turbine while roaming in a three-dimensional scene. Thus the system can improve the effectiveness and reduce the cost of wind turbine training.
