Purpose:To discuss characteristics of lipid metabolism and glucose metabolism in different thyroid function states.Further study the correlation beetwhin Thyroid hormone levels and blood lipids, fasting blood glucose. Methods:Study of 150 cases selected,One group of 50 patients with hyperthyroidism,50 patients with hypothyroidism,Healthy control group of 50 patients. For all three study subjects were determinated in serum total triiodothyronine, total thyroxine, free triiodothyronine three, free thyroxine, thyroid stimulating hormone, triglyceride, total cholesterol, high density lipoprotein cholesterol, LDL Protein cholesterol, apolipoprotein A1,apolipoprotein B,lipoprotein A and fasting blood glucose.Result:Hyperthyroid group triglyceride, total cholesterol, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, high density lipoprotein cholesterol, lapolipoproteinB was significantly lower than the control group, fasting blood glucose above the control group (p<0.05),and ipoprotein A, apolipoprotein Al was no significant difference (p>0.05).Hypothyroid group of triglycerides, total cholesterol, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, apolipoprotein B, lipoprotein A was significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05), while high density lipoprotein cholesterol, apolipoprotein Al, fasting blood glucose no significant difference (P>0.05).Hyperthyroid group triglyceride, total cholesterol, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, apolipoprotein B, apolipoprotein Al, apolipoprotein A fasting blood glucose was significantly lower than the hypothyroid group (P<0.05), while no difference between high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (P>0.05). Serum triglycerides, total cholesterol, low density lipoprotein, apolipoprotein B, lipoprotein A are negative correlation between TT3, TT4,respectively and there is a positive correlation with TSH. Fasting plasma glucose is positive correlation between TT3, TT4 respectively and a negative correlation between TSH and has a statistically significant (P<0.05). Serum high density lipoprotein, apolipoprotein A1 was no correlation between the TT3, TT4, TSH respectively. Conclusion:Thyroid hormones affect lipid metabolism and glucose metabolism. With the changes in thyroid hormone serum triglyceride, total cholesterol, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, apolipoprotein B, apolipoprotein A, fasting blood glucose levels change.Thyroid hormones and lipid parameters are correlated. With the increase in thyroid hormone levels, serum TG, TC, LDL-C,HDL-C, Apo-B levels decreased, Fasting plasma glucose increased.measured by lipid abnormalities and Fasting plasma glucose in patients help us to assess thyroid disease status and guide treatment, and prevent of thyroid disease complications.
