peritoneal dialysis treatment is a safe and effective therapeutic tool for patients with chronic renal failure. However, there may be a relatively high morbidity and mortality in the long-term treatment due to the patients loss the residual renal function and the dialysis therapy is not sufficient. Currently in China, peritoneal dialysis equipment and related supplies the expensive, but the evaluation for the dialysis adequacy is mainly based on the subjective judgments of doctors. So it is common that patients withdraw the treatment because of inadequate dialysis, and the evaluation results for the dialysis adequacy between different medical institutions are conflicting, this undoubtedly will have an impact on patients'care, and waste the precious medical resources.The dialysis adequacy evaluation is a system engineering involved in multi-disciplinary. If the evaluation results only come from the subjective judgment of doctors, it definitely cannot meet the clinical requirements of effective, objective and reliable, therefore, it is significant of using intelligent technology to reduce the subjectivity of the evaluation and improve the efficiency. The study of this paper focused on the following aspects:(1) Established the peritoneal dialysis adequacy index system, and developed a detailed fuzzy quantitative standards for patients'clinical indicators;(2) From the perspective of multi-attribute group decision making, the paper design an assessment method based on fAHP and group decision-making. In this method, the indexes of index system are divided into two layers, and using the fAHP methods to calculate the index weights of each layer, then getting the final evaluation results by gathering the points of many experts. Compared with the existing assessment methods, this method avoids the subjective judgment to affect the evolution results and has important stability advantages;(3) Design an evaluation method based on fuzzy entropy theory. Getting the information entropy of each index through the experts scoring each index, and calculating the index weights, than with the help of experts'score and index weights, the evaluation results can be got. In this paper, we also verified the real-time characteristics and reliability of this method;(4) From the perspective of data clustering to evaluate the dialysis adequacy. In this paper, the traditional ART2 Artificial Neural Network are improved from five points, making the network is more suitable for medical application, then training and testing the modified ART2 network. When evaluation, clinical data is fuzzy qualified and input the network, and the network automatically get the evaluation results. The accuracy and rapidity have been greatly improved;(5) design the software to make the above methods can be run on computer.
