Objective:To analyze the factors of mental health of Zhijiangxi community physical disabled by the study. Strengthen social support to enhance the intervention program of the mental health of this population through the level of community health services. To provide evidence and recommendations of further promotion of rehabilitation of the community physical disabled.Content:1. To investigate the situation of social support of Zhijiangxi community physical disabled (with the Social Support Rating Scale); to investigate the mental health of the population (with SCL); to investigate the general situation of this population (with the Shanghai uniform physical health of persons with disabilities File survey questionnaire)2. To analyze various factors of mental health of community physical disabled and present the recommendation of strengthen the mental health of this population from the perspective of social support.3. To select randomly part of the target population based on age, disability levels and activities of daily living to strengthen social support interventions and set up the control group.4. To evaluate and feedback after the intervention and implement and apply specifically.Methods:Quantitative research methods are used including the collection of existing data, site investigation and etc.Survey tools:The applied Social Support Scale (SSRS) and 90 Symptom Checklist (SCL-90) is applied and analyzes and evaluate before and after the intervention.Conclusions:1. The social support of community physical disabled is generally low and the mental health problems are more prominent.2. The social support of community physical disabled and mental health status is correlated.3. Marital status, employment status, educational level of community physical disabled has greater impact on social support.4. The SSRS of different ages of disabled is different. Especially the disabled aged 40-60 has the lowest score.5. After implementing the social support comprehensive intervention program, social support and mental health of this population significantly improved, social aspects of life quality improved significantly and the results can be sustained if continue to follow.6. The social support comprehensive intervention program is feasible to implement in the community.7. The communication and collaboration with the streets and disabled workers should be increased, the input of manpower and material resources to the mental health of community physical disabled should be increased, and to establish the social support preventive health organization network of this population.
