| Objective:To investigate the relationship and significance among visfati,monocyte chemoattractant protein-1(MCP-1),adipocyte fatty acid binding protein(A-FABP)and traditional chinese medicine syndrome of elderly type 2 diabetes.Methods:Observation group,which collects elderly type2 diabetes patients in the wards of geriatrics division in Nanjing Durm Tower Hospital geriatrics from December 2009 to December 2010,is grouped by the diagnostic standard of Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Control group includes patients without diabetes in the same period.The visfatin,MCP-1,A-FABP are detected by ELISA. The serum insulin in fasting(FINS) is detected by radioimmunity.The insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR) is calculated.We comparevisfatn,MCP-1,A-FABP,FBG,FINS,blood lipid and blood pressure among each group.Results:1,The level of fasting blood glucose in deficiency of spleen-qi group and deficiency of kidney-yin group are increased compared with control group, which have significant differences(P<0.01), The level of FBG in spleen-qi deficiency group is significantly higher than kidney-yin group (P<0.05); 2,the level of serum insulin of fasting in deficiency of spleen-qi group and deficiency of kidney-yin group are increased compared with control group,which have significant differences (P<0.01, P<0.05), there is no significant differences between deficiency of spleen-qi group and deficiency of kidney-yin group(P>0.05); 3,compared with control group, the HOMA-IR values in deficiency of spleen-qi group and deficiency of kidney-yin group are increased,which have significant differences (P<0.01);the value of deficiency of spleen-qi group is higher than deficiency of kidney-yin group, and there is difference between two traditional chinese medicine syndrome types (P<0.01);4,visfatin in deficiency of spleen-qi group and deficiency of kidney-yin group are higher than in control group,which have significant differences (P<0.01), visfatin in deficiency of spleen-qi group is higher than in deficiency of kidney-yin group,and there is significant difference between two types (P<0.05);5,MCP-1 in deficiency of spleen-qi group and deficiency of kidney-yin group are higher than in control group,and there are significant differences (P<0.01), MCP-1 in deficiency of spleen-qi group is higher than in deficiency of kidney-yin group,and there is significant difference between two types (P<0.01);6,A-FABP in deficiency of spleen-qi group and deficiency of kidney-yin group are higher than in control group,which have significant differences(P<0.01), there is no significant difference between deficiency of spleen-qi group and deficiency of kidney-yin group (P>0.05);7,Partial correlation analysis show that visfatin is correlated with BMI,TG,HDL,HbA1c,and HOMA-IR.Among them,visfatin is positively correlated with BMI,TG,HDL,HbA1c,and HOMA-IR,and negatively correlated with HDL;8,Cholesterol,triglyceride,high density lipoproteins,low density lipoprotein in deficiency of spleen-qi group is higher than in control group,which has difference(P<0.01),the blood lipid above mentioned in deficiency of kidney-yin group are also higher than in control group (P< 0.05,P<0.05,P<0.01,P<0.05),and there are significant differences,and the blood lipid in deficiency of spleen-qi group is increased compared with deficiency of kidney-yin group (P< 0.05,P<0.01,P<0.05,P<0.05);9,Systolic pressure in two TCM type are higher than in control group,there are differences (P<0.01, P<0.05), there is no difference between two traditional chinese medicine syndrome types (P>0.05); Diastolic pressure in deficiency of spleen-qi group and kidney-yin group are higher than in control group,which have differences (P<0.01, P<0.05), and there is no difference between two traditional chinese medicine syndrome types (P>0.05); 10,there is no difference ofTC. TG,HDL,LDL,FINS,visfatin,MCP-1,A-FABP and blood pressure in different age(P>0.05), there are significant differences of FBG,HbA1c,HOMA-IR in different age (P<0.01,P<0.05,P<0.05)Conclusion:Elderly type 2 diabetes is correlated withvisfati,MCP-1,A-FABP. Elderly type 2 diabetes which caused by deficiency of spleen-qi has more relationshiop with the liparoid cytokines above mentioned.With age increasing, glucose metabolism disorders and insulin resistance get worse. |
