| Objective: To investigate the level of significance cystatin C(CysC) in serum and microalbuminuria(MAU) in the urinate from the patients with hypertension and carotid atherosclerosis.Methods: Hypertension is elevated blood pressure as the main clinical syndrome ,Hypertension is cause and risk factors of heart and heart . Influence structure and function of heart, brain, kidney, Eventually lead to these organs function failure. So far,cerebrovascular disease still is the main cause of death Statistics report shows cardiovascular disease for the first reason of people died since 1990. The Chinese health development statistics report shows, Cardiovascular death already accounts for the total death 40.7%, If not controlled, cardiovascular disease in 2030 than 2000 increase raise 3.7 times. Therefore controled cardiovascular events, controlled cardiovascular disease spreading will become a 21st century priority. The Cystatin C(CysC) concentration in the serum of hypertension and carotid atherosclerosis and the healthy were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), urinate microalbuminuria(MAU) by immunoturbidimetry.Results: The comparison of serum CysC concentration in hypertension patients, hypertension with carotid atherosclerosis patients were higher than the healthy(P <0.05); the serum CysC concentration of hypertension with carotid atherosclerosis patients was higher than hypertension patients (P<0.05), The comparison of urinate MAU concentration in hypertension patients, hypertension with carotid atherosclerosis patients were higher than the healthy (P <0.05); the urinate MAU concentration of hypertension with carotid atherosclerosis patients was higher than hypertension patients (P<0.05), Person correlation analysis showed there was a positive correlation between CysC and MAU both patients hypertension and carotid atherosclerosis.(The relavent index were 0.791 0.848 P<0.01). However,no significant correlation was between CysC and MAU of the healthy (r=0.035 P=0.807).Conclusions: The level of CysC and MAU of hypertension patients and hypertension patients with carotid atherosclerosis were raised. hypertension patients with carotid atherosclerosis MAU and CysC have positive correlation. CysC and CysC involved in atherosclerosis occurrence, development. It can respond to the pathological damage of hypertension patients. It can predict cardiovascular events. |
