Relevant Research On Heart Rate Variability And Carotid Atherosclerosis In Patients With Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Objective: applying Xi'an blue port Medical instrument Company CCTT-12 Holter 5.h 03 dynamic electrocardiogram ECG analysis system to analyze type 2 diabetes patients Heart Rate Variability, applying color Doppler ultrasound technology to exam the carotid artery internal membrane changes of patients with type 2 diabetes, analyzing the relationship of type 2 diabetes and Carotid atherosclerosis ,discussing the relavance of Heart Rate Variability and the carotid atherosclerosis in type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patients .Methods:To 69 cases of type 2 diabetes(T2DM) patients and 30 cases of healthy person(NGT group) line carotid artery color Doppler ultrasound ,measuring the subjects, bilateral common carotid artery (CCA) of IMT, and dividing the patients with type 2 diabetes into groups according to the ITM thickness, testing the fasting blood-glucose(FBG,FDG),the postprandial 2h blood sugar (PC2hPG) ,triglycerides(TG), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol HDL-c, low density lipoprotein cholesterol LDL-c, glycosylated hemoglobin HbAlc, and some other index respectively both in type 2 diabetes group and health control group. monitoring analysis of time domain indexes with dynamic ECG ,assessing the regulating function of cardiac autonomic neuropathy regulation function ,comparing the biochemical index level and HRV in the groups with type 2 diabetes and the health control ,analyzing the correlation between carotid atherosclerosis and HRV in the type 2 diabetes.Results: 1.Compairing with the control group, type 2 diabetes group Heart Rate Variability index decreased obviously (P<0.05),and it has positive relationship with carotid atherosclerosis. 2. The type 2diabetes atherosclerosis is closely related to glycosylated hemoglobin, high blood fat, postprandial 2h blood sugar(P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion: 1. patients with type 2 diabetes HRV index numerical decreases obviously, which suggests that the sympathetic-parasympathetic nerve balance coordination ability of the diabetes decrease. 2.The decrease of heart rate variability index in type 2 diabetes patients has significant correlation with carotid atherosclerosis ,which suggests that certain relevance exists the diabetes autonomic neuropathy and the diabetes Carotid atherosclerosis. 3.The carotid atherosclerosis degree in patients with type 2 diabetes has the trend of rising along with the rising of the low density lipoprotein cholesterol ,triglyceride and 2-hr glycosylated hemoglobin concentration blood glucose ,which shows that glucolipid metabolism disorder is an important risk factor for diabetes atherosclerosis.
