| Purpose: This paper is designed to explore the correlation between risk stratification of the non-acute cerebral infarction and syndrome factor of Chinese medicine. In addition, it is intended to find out the distribution rule and characteristics of syndrome factor in each layering or different layerings, aiming to entend the thoughts of secondary prevention for stoke. Methods: After clinically acquiring the information for the patients with the non-acute cerebral infarction and determining the Essen stroke risk score (ESRS) and syndrome factor, statistical method will be conducted to examine the syndrome factor of Chinese medicine in each risk layering and the correlation between them. Results revealed that (1) The older the patients are, the higher risk grading the stroke recurrences will get. (2) Gender is likely to be the important factor to cause the occurrence and recurrence of cerebral infarction. (3) Fiery and sputum are the two important syndrome factors resulting in the non-acute cerebral infarction. (4) Lung Qi deficiency, blood asthenia and yin deficiency and yang excess are effective to decide the high risk of recurrence to the patients with non-acute cerebral infarction. Conclusions: (1) Age plays an irresistible risking role resulting in stroke and its seriousness. (2) Man should pay more attention to the primary and secondary prevention for stroke. (3) The intervention syndrome factors, fiery and sputum, play a significant role in secondary prevention. (4) The appearance of virtual syndrome factors, Lung Qi deficiency and yin deficiency and yang excess, suggests the poor outcome of the disease. |
