| Objective:To compare and to assess the treatment effectiveness of intertrochanteric femoral fractures by proximal femoral nail(PFN), dynamic hip screw(DHS)and prosthetic replacement. Methods:From Januaryy 2004 to January 2009,141 cases of intertrochanteric femoral fractures were treated, including 60 males and 81 females, with a mean age of 75years(42—93 years).39 patients were treated with DHS,71 with PFN and 31 with prosthetic replacement. The operative procedures and postoperative functional recovery were evaluated and analyzed with statistic sofeware(SPSS V116.0). Results:The mean operation time was 110.4min with DHS group,95.9min with PFN group,105min with prosthetic replacement group. The mean bleeding was 350ml with DHS group,210ml with PFN group,428ml with prosthetic replacement group. The mean transfusion was was 130.5ml with DHS group,90.2ml with PFN group, 400.8ml with prosthetic replacement group. The mean cut effusion was 140.2ml with DHS group,150.4ml with PFN group,201.0ml with prosthetic replacement group. The mean Harris score was 92.48 with DHS group,93.81 with PFN group,95.00 with prosthetic replacement group.Conclusion:1.The differences of operation time and cut effusion were not remarkable, while there were significant differences between bleeding and transfusion. 2.It was effective that treating femoral intertrochanteric fractures with DHS,PFN and prosthetic replacement, and the effect of them was similar. |
