Intension:1. to study the morbidity and related factors of osteoporosis withtype 2 diabetes mellitus.2. to preliminary study the correlation between Type 2 diabetes and osteoporosis, hope to provide clinical basis for Integrated Treatment of Diabetes combine osteoporosis.Method:With a retrospective review of the way, I take 200 of patients with type 2 diabetes and 96 of nondiabetic patients who lived in Xiyuan Hospital of China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2009 to January 2011.Diabetes as a whole according to TCM Syndrome Differentiation, the dialectical unity of its re-classification, recording-gender, age, duration, glycosylated hemoglobin, blood Ca and P, the BMD at L 1-4 and p roximal femur regions, Cacombined with other related indicators. Collect the information.By SPSS17.0 software measurement data with±s, said groups of the comparative non-parametric test.Count data with x2 test, a= 0.05, P<0.05 was considered significant difference.Result:1. Compared with the controls, T2 DM of patient have High incidence of OP (P>0.05)2. Compared with the controls, the BMD at L 1-4 and p roximal femur region of T2 DM is Significantly reduced(P>0.05),but calcium and phosphate of blood (P>0.05)3.Study the morbidity and related factors of osteoporosis withtype 2 diabetes mellitus, BMD of retrospective and Type 2 DM in patients was correlated positively with BMI, and had reverse correlation with age,the course of disease,Glycated Haemoglobin Ale, but the the level of calcium and phosphate of blood.4. Retrospective in patients with type 2 diabetes accounted for 57%of the total number of investigations, the incidence of osteoporosis in type 2 diabet ie pat ients was 40.3%(male patients) and 62.5%(female pat ients), with statistically significant difference between the test (P<0.05).5. Type 2 diabetes and osteoporosis of chinese medicine card type can be divided into the deficiency of both vital energy and yin, deficiency of the kidney and spleen, deficiency of the kidney and blood stasis, the syndromes in the incidence of Retrospective was significantly higher than normal and the bons-mass-reduction incidence, with statistically significant difference between the test (P<0.05).Conclusions:The incidence of Type 2 diabetes and osteoporosis of old patientis is higher than normal people,The incidence of women is higher than men, osteoporosis incidence of old type 2 diabetespatients with Glycated Haemoglobin Ale and BMI factor for the elderly patients.
