Objective To investigate the status of hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c)control in type 2 diabetic patients and analyze the contribution of the satisfying fasting blood glucose(FBG) goal and the satisfying postprandial blood glucose(PBG) goal to hemoglobin A1C(HbA1c) goal .Methods A total of 300 type 2 diabetic patients were recruited in this study to analyze the relationship between FBG-target(FBG≤6.1mmol/L),P2hBG-target(P2hBG≤8.0mmol/L),and HbA1c-target(HbA1c<6.5% or 7.0%).Results①Among 300 patients ,the HbA1c-target rate were 38.3%(115/300) with HbA1c<6.5% and 51.7%(155/300)with HbA1c<7% respectively;②Among 82 patients who achieved FBG below the targets, the rate was 67.1% with HbA1c<6.5% and 76.8% with HbA1c<7%;③Among 72 patients who achieved P2hBG below the targets, the rate was88.9% with HbA1c<6.5% and 94.4% with HbA1c<7%;④Among 39 patients who both achieved the satisfying FBG goal and the satisfying P2hBG goal, the rate was 97.4% with HbA1c<6.5% and 100% with HbA1C<7%.Conclusion Most Type 2 diabetic patients were poor in HbA1C control, concerning on fasting and postprandial blood glucose at the same time could result in a better outcome in achieving the satisfying HbA1c goals. Objective To analysis the related factors influencing blood glucose—target and provide some guide for clinical treatment in blood glucose control. Methods Hemoglobin A1c and serum lipid were detected and their personal information, including age, course of disease, BMI,education level and therapeutic regimens of blood glucose control were collected from 300 type 2 diabetic patients, then their relationship with blood glucose control were analyzed.Results①The insulin treatmeat rate( including insulin alone and insulin plus oral drug) was 18% .②the value of HbA1c in insulin plus oral drug group was obviously higher than that of diet and exercise group (P<0.01) course of disease of insulin plus oral anti-diabetic drug group was much longer than that of diet and exercise group at the same time.③the value of HbA1c of two oral anti-diabetic drugs group was the lower(P<0.05)compared with one oral anti-diabetic drug group and three oral anti-daibetic drugs group.④The value of HbA1c of college group was obviously lower than those of elementary school group, junior high school group and senior high school group(P<0.05).⑤According to course of disease, 300 patients were divided into three groups, the value of HbA1c of the group whose course of disease was more than 10 years was higher than those of patients with course less than 5 years and 5 to 10 years. ⑥No significant differences in blood glucose control were found among different BMI groups.⑦The overall control rate was only 2% with HbA1c<6.5% and 2.7% with HbA1c <7% in 300 patients who achieved the satisfying BG goal, HbA1c goal and serum lipid goal. Conclusion There are many factors that influence blood glucose control in type 2 diabetic patients;Combination treatment and insulin treatment in the early stage might improve the status of blood glucose control, course of disease and education levels are also related with blood glucose control in some degree, The overall control rate is low in type 2 diabetic patients.
