| Since the 20th century, cognitive linguistics has become the mainstream of linguistics, it reveals the bottom reason of the language. Meanwhile, the study about verb is an important aspect of language study. As Mr. Ma Qingzhu has talked in his "the predicture of Chinese verbs and verb structures " : "If the verb has been studied well, and the most problems on grammar would be solved." This shows fully that it is necessary to study the verb in the language study. Verb, it is a very important category in the semantic system, and it is also the most important component of the basic vocabulary. Compared with other words, the internal of the verb is the most complex,what's more,its activity is the strongest in syntactic structure, because most parts of them will combine with it. This article will explore symmetry and asymmetry of the verb in current Chinese antonym.We try to make detailed description and explanation and then to find a new rule. To reveal what kind of verb class has antonym and what kind of the verb class'antonyms are less, or don't existe on the symmetry. After that, we will notice the causes. In addition, we also make a simple introduction that the antonym how to monosyllabic compound words .In this article, we used markedness theory, the three plane theory and cognitive linguistics. Although we have seen many articles in this respect, most of them use some theories to explain a phenomenon, and they can't illustrate the intrinsic link better and systematically between the phenomenon, meanwhile they don't have completed materials. Most parts of the articles are the study of adjective symmetry asymmetry, while the studies of the verb are relatively less. To compensate for this gap in the academic, we try to conduct a study on this issue. GUO Zhao-jun in the classroom told us that the master should emphasiz on analysis of the facts, if only to take the theory to explain, then we will be bound into a tautological trap. Therefore, this article will descript and anaylize the fact .The "Introduction" section first introduces this subject content and significance. This article is about the anti-symmetric and asymmetric verb and a brief description of the significance of the study. On the basis of our predecessors, we also briefly review the present status of research projects. In the end of this part, we have concise description about accessing to sources of information for this article. The first chapter is the theoretical basis for this article. By studying previous scholars and their articles, we understand that the symmetry and asymmetry of antonym is mostly about verbs and adjectives, and only limited to case studies. Although only a case study, it is essential to our further research. It is such a case study that we have a basis for the comprehensive study. So we review the anti-sense verbs and adjectives of the case study. Later, the theory used in this article: markedness theory, cognitive linguistics theories, three plane model, we conducted a brief introduction.The second chapter is the language fact of this argument. We summed up the anti-sense verb classification: psychological verbs, verbs tend to judge verbs, action verbs, verbs and so on. And a detailed list will be showed, which can be a very good comparison and found that different types of the word in its antonym place will form a different phenomenon of absence. They will be basis of our following theoretical research.Chapterâ…¢and IV are the focus of this article. In these two chapters, we introduce the phenomenon of symmetry and symmetry defects about the anti-sense verb in different voice and different sentence, but also we explain the usefulness of the anti-sense verb symmetry and the asymmetry.Chapterâ…¤is also the last chapter of the body. In this chapter we will proceed to explain the causes of symmetry and asymmetry through cognitive linguistic theory and the national psychology. In the end, we also talked about the role of artificial intelligence study about symmetry and asymmetry in foreign language teaching . |
