Art Features And Performance. Debussy For Piano And For "special Use Of The Touch Keys And Pedals

This essay describes the artistic characteristics and touch-key and pedal's flexible application in the Pour le Piano which is Achille-Claude Debussy's famous work. Pour le Piano is one of the Debussy's middle works and consists of three parts: Prelude, Sarabande and Toccata. During Debussy's whole lifetime, this one is considered as a critical work which reflects his acoustics'connotation.This essay describes the work systematically with three sections, and analyses the creative feature of Debussy's music and the artistic feature of Pour le Piano. The third section gives a detailed research about how touch-key and pedal apply in a flexible way when playing the Pour le Piano. This essay is based on the study of previous experience with my own learning and playing experience. To get more and appropriate inspiration and reference when we learn and play this work, the author made a deep research about the application of touch-key and pedal.
