Rong Yu Tang edition of"Outlaws of the Marsh"(hereinafter referred to as"Rong Edition"),is the earliest and the most complete traditional Chinese version, in which comments of monk Li (Li Zhi) had been published has long been concerned with the researchers, but the study on Buddhism of this edition, other edition and SHUIHU drama is still little. In this article, the Comparative study on Buddhism of"Rong Edition", other edition and SHUIHU drama is made through systematical analysis. Further exploration of the impact of novel"Outlaws of the Marsh"on the Buddhist of future generations is also proposed in it.Chapter 1,"The study on Buddhism of"Rong Edition"is the key research item, in which the relationship between Buddhism and Literature creation of early Ming Dynasty is analyzed, and in-depth study on the relationship between Buddhism and Taoism, Confucianism and Chivalrousness is made.In chapter2, further study on the Buddhism of"Rong Edition"is analyzed by comparing the Buddhism between Jin Sheng Tan's 70 back-chapters edition"Outlaws of the Marsh", 120 back-chapters"Outlaws of the Marsh full edition".In chapter3, the Buddhism comparison between several SHUIHU dramas which are popular before"Rong Edition"is stated, and Li Kui and Lu Zhishen ware set as the examples to analyze the Buddhism.The influence on Buddhism of"Outlaws of the Marsh"to later ages' literature creation is analyzed in chapter4 by analyzing the influence of literature theory in the mid-Ming Dynasty and that of literature creation in mid-Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty.
