On The Yue Dialect Words Of The Book Chinese Courtship

The book of Chinese courtship is written by Yue dialect. The diction of Chinesecourtship is beautiful, and the plot is moving. From the literary point of view, it is anoutstanding representative of the Cantonese dialect literature which should occupy animportant position in literary history. From the point of view of language study, the value isalso no doubt. It has some contribution to record and save the Cantonese dialect folkvocabulary, not only provides a valuable corpus for the Cantonese dialect words, but alsohelp us to do the research into the history of Chinese vocabulary. Now the earliest version ofit is from the years of Kangxi52, in addition to half a dozen other versions. The book's authoris unknown, some scholar thought that the Reviewers of the book Zhong Dai Cang may be theauthor, but the evidence is insufficient.In this paper, I analysis and researched the collation and dialect word of Chinesecourtship, which divided into five parts. The first part is an introduction, which included thereason about why I chose the topic, the value of it, as well as existing research results and text;The second part presents an overview of Chinese courtship, include the author's research, thebook background and the main content and version; The third part is the study of Mr. LiangPeichi's collation and point out his omissions or irregularities; The fourth part is a research ofthe Cantonese dialect vocabulary, the source of Chinese courtship in Cantonese dialect words,the development and the evolution about them; The fifth part is about the other linguisticfeatures research, and the value of the work of lexicography, hoping to make somecontribution to the compilation and revision of large-scale language dictionaries.
