| Communication is the transfer of feelings and the feedback process of ideas betweenpeople and groups, so as to reach a consistance of ideas and smooth of emotion.Theimportance of communication for each society people is self-evident, either for theschool and small families or large enterprises and countries, there is no doubt, goodcommunication skills is necessary for us. In recent years, due to the highlights ofcollege students employment,the discussions concerning the reason of employmentdifficulties make communication skills a hot topic ahead of us.That most enterpriseslay more emphasis on communication skills of graduates than the scores, prompt theoriginal sparse communication courses become hot. The purpose of the study is toinvestigate the content contained in current college students communication skills, thestatus quo of communication skills,and draw forth the interpersonal efficacy,which isclosely related to communication skills,explore an effective way to improvecommunication skills through experimental intervention. The study design consists ofthree parts.In the first part,we work out the Students' communication skills questionnairethrough the standardization process, the result show that communication skillsincludes eight dimensions: language, emotional sensitivity, passion, comfort others,respect, empathy, listening and emotional control; and college studentscommunication skills survey results show that college students communication skillsof different academic performance, whether the student leaders, family economicstatus, relationship with their parents have a significant difference.The second part examines the relationship between communication skills andinterpersonal efficacy, the better the communication skills, the higher interpersonalefficacy, personal characteristics and family factors also indirectly affect theinterpersonal efficacy.In the third part,during the college enrollment of25voluntary subjects,15people participated in the experimental group receiving2hours per week, a total of11communication skills trainings. In quantitative data, we used two questionnaires,"College Students' Communication Skills Questionnaire" and " College Students'Interpersonal Efficacy " to examine the groups involved in the immediate effect, onlythe listening and language reach significant levels, interpersonal efficacy of theexperimental group improved to varying degrees, but also failed to reach significantlevels. In qualitative research, we assess the effectiveness of group training based onthe leader's observation and records of the group process, members' previous activityfeedback, as well as subjective assessment questionnaire after the experiment andother aspects of information. The results show that the group atmosphere, trainingcontent and methods is quite satisfactory, listening, empathy and caring impressedthem. Overall, group training is an effective way to improve communication skills,there is a certain change on interpersonal efficacy, but the effect is not obvious andneeds further study and research. |
