Those that are used for stating the unit of objects and actions are called "quantifiers" in Chinese and "unit words" in Korean, and that are one common form of expressions in all languages. The quantity and quantifier are widely used in expressions of Asia languages, especially in Sino-tibetan which Chinese belong to, and the expression pattern in Chinese exert obvious influences on Korean owning to the large amount of quantifier application, furthermore, plenty of quantifiers derived from Chinese are adopted until now and that can be reflected by the Sino-Korean vocabulary in Korean. Due to the extensive application in daily life, the research on the expression manner of quantifier has significant meaning. Many common characteristics exist between unit noun in Korean and quantifier in Chinese but also plenty of differences do in definition, classifying standard, resource, structure etc.between both which cause the obstacles for the learners of both languages. Misapplications caused by the impact of native language and the misuses caused by indeterminate syntactic structure, semantics and pragmatics happen occasionally. Based on that consideration, conducting research from the standpoint of comparative linguistics will be definitely significant.
